GenuineMC is a Semi‑Vanilla Minecraft server built by an incredible community of players. Over the 11 years of operation, people of all ages, backgrounds, and nationalities have found their home here. Their ideas and passions have helped guide our journey and keep our blocky world afloat for many years!

From day one, our team has focused on creating a place where everyone feels welcome, regardless of whether you are brand new or have been with us since the beginning. We listen to your thoughts, appreciate your stories, and genuinely value your feedback. Every suggestion, every comment, and every shared experience helps us make GenuineMC an amazing place to play.

What Does “Semi‑Vanilla” Mean on GenuineMC?

At GenuineMC, “Semi‑Vanilla” means staying true to the core Minecraft experience while enhancing the game with carefully selected improvements that respect its original design. Our goal is to preserve everything players already love about Vanilla Minecraft, while taking into account the quality of life improvements our community wants to see.

We use a combination of plugins and custom datapacks to enhance gameplay in ways that feel intuitive, not intrusive. These additions never overshadow the foundation of Minecraft itself. In fact, you can log in and play without relying on any of our enhancements and still enjoy the classic survival experience exactly as intended.
